How It Works

The Online Permaculture Site Consultation is a 60-minute online consultation for landowners with a property design they are in the process of developing or refining. This consultation focuses on whole site/project planning and is tailored to review key decisions that set you on a path to realizing your landscape and lifestyle goals.

This remote consultation includes a review of your Minimum Holistic Goal and your property via satellite imagery and contour maps. During our video call, we’ll discuss the most pressing questions you have about your property/project and identify primary opportunities and challenges to realizing your lifestyle goals. We may discuss challenges and opportunities such as:

  • Passive water harvesting, drought-proofing, and regenerative terraforming to maximize the benefit of your site’s water resources
  • Access challenges, and how to improve them
  • Where to site and how to orient and build structures to maximize unique advantages of your site
  • Microclimate enhancement for expanded outdoor use
  • Ideal locations for specific design elements like orchards, ponds, gardens, animal systems etc
  • Where to expand food production areas and how

All work with clients is always carried out under a professional duty of confidentiality.

Process

Once we receive your payment, we’ll send you a Site Context Form so we can learn the essential background information about your site/project.

After we receive your completed intake form, we’ll provide you with a scheduling link to set up your consultation appointment.

Cost

Online consultations cost $500. Deliverables include:

  • 20 minutes of prep time for the design team prior to the call to perform a site review and read through your site context form and prioritized list of questions / focus areas.
  • 60-minute video call
  • Copies of all map files generated before and during the call for viewing in Google Earth.
  • A written summary of our notes from the call.
  • Up to two follow up emails if needed.
